We're very proud to announce that our luxury hammock has been selected as a finalist in the 2015 Best Design Awards.

The Best Design Awards recognise New Zealand's most outstanding design work across multiple categories. Our freestanding hammock is a finalist in the Product Design category - for the Furniture Design award.

Our hammock is amongst esteemed company, including stunning designer tables, seating and shelving, from some of New Zealand's finest furniture designers.

We worked collaboratively with award-winning NZ design team Think & Shift to develop our new-look designer hammock.

The focus during the design process was form and function  - to create a hammock that would not only look gorgeous at your place, but would deliver the longest-lasting durable quality (resilient to salt air, mildew, spills, sun-fading and more), supreme ergonomic comfort and extra features that make it a joy to lounge in. Extra features like our bluetooth outdoor speaker (for a soundtrack while you sunbathe); and utility pocket to keep things like sunscreen, water bottle etc. close at hand - both of which cleverly attach to the hammock.

So we're getting ready to break out our suits and frocks for the awards ceremony in October... wish us luck for that coveted Purple Pin!
